  • Our programs, including traditional Aadhiyoga, health camps, and lifestyle consultations, are for general wellness and educational purposes only. They do not substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Specialized Camps & Workshops: Enrollment in specialized programs (such as Diabetes Management, Pregnancy Caring, etc.) is strictly limited to individuals meeting the specific condition’s criteria. Pregnant women or individuals with chronic conditions must secure prior clearance from their practicing medical doctor/gynecologist before joining. Participants practice these techniques solely at their own risk.

1.2 Recording Policy

  • Aranthai Tamil Sangam retains all rights to record the online and offline sessions for internal usage, archival, and quality purposes.
  • These recordings are exclusively intended for the institution’s use, and the data is securely stored to safeguard it against misuse, loss, or unauthorized access.
  • Students are strictly prohibited from making their own audio or video recordings of these live sessions. As per our policy, session recordings will not be made available to the students.

1.3 Photography and Videography Policy

  • As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting yoga and sharing positive student experiences, we may capture photographs or videos during programs for internal usage, promotional materials, and our official social media platforms.
  • If you prefer not to be photographed or video graphed, kindly inform your course coordinator in writing at the time of admission.

1.4 Payment, No Refund & Cancellation Policy

  • Course Fees: All course fees are subject to change, and adjustments will be promptly updated on our website. All online payments are securely processed through our integrated payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your financial card details.
  • No Refund Policy: Aranthai Tamil Sangam follows a strict No Refund Policy for all its registered programmes and course fees.
  • Exception: The only exception to this policy is if a programme is cancelled by Aranthai Tamil Sangam. In such events, the student/participant will be offered a credit voucher for any other future programme or a full refund of the event fee processed back via Razorpay within 5-7 business days.

1.5 Age Eligibility

  • Teacher Training Course: Open exclusively to individuals aged 18 years and above.
  • 7-Days Health Camp & 21-Days Better/Blissful Living Course: Candidates must be aged 18 years and above to enroll.
  • Memory Development Course: Tailored specifically for children and teenagers between the ages of 8 and 17 years. Parental consent is mandatory during registration.

1.6 Attendance & Leave Request Policy

  • Attendance Criteria: A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory for all Certification Courses to qualify for the final certificate.
  • Leave Request: Should you foresee the necessity to request leave during any certification or non-certification course, you must provide advance notification to the course coordinator. Please note that your overall course or leave period will not be extended under any circumstances.

1.7 Dress Code

  • Students must adhere to the modest and respectful environment of Aranthai Tamil Sangam by wearing comfortable and conservative attire.
  • Please refrain from wearing shorts above the knees, narrow sleeveless tops, crop tops, tank tops, low-cut shirts, or short capris.

1.8 Communication Guidelines

  • Official course communication will be conducted within our designated online WhatsApp group communities. For personal concerns, please reach out to the coordinator directly.
  • If you are not comfortable using WhatsApp or being a part of the official group, kindly inform the coordinator at the time of admission so alternative arrangements can be noted.

SECTION 2: SPECIFIC TERMS FOR OFFLINE (ON-CAMPUS) STUDENTS

2.1 Hostel Rules & Curfew

  • Leaving and Returning Policy: If you need to leave the campus for any reason, prior written permission must be obtained from your course coordinator. You must return and be back on campus by 9:00 p.m.
  • Lights Out & Activity Curfew: To foster proper rest, rejuvenation, and energy for the next day’s practice, all lights must be turned off and activities must cease by 10:00 p.m.
  • Substance Use Policy: The campus is a sacred and clean space. It is strictly prohibited to possess, carry, or consume tobacco, alcohol, cigarettes, or any illicit drugs on the premises. Violation will lead to immediate expulsion without a refund.
  • Gender Separation/Visitation: Students of opposite sexes are strictly not permitted to enter each other’s hostel rooms. This policy ensures the privacy, comfort, and security of all residents.
  • Serene Environment & Property Maintenance: Students must cultivate an atmosphere of tranquility, serenity, and respectful behavior. Students are expected to keep the institute’s property in good condition. If any physical damage occurs to the room or infrastructure, the respective student will bear the total repair/replacement costs.
  • Shared Accommodation & Valuables: Accommodation is provided on a shared basis. Please utilize the keys and locks provided by the management. Students are solely responsible for their personal belongings and valuables; Aranthai Tamil Sangam is not liable for any losses.
  • Cleanliness, Hygiene & Bed Linen: It is essential to maintain absolute cleanliness in your rooms, toilets, and common living areas. Bed linen (sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and mosquito nets) will be changed weekly. Students must bring their own personal towels.
  • Laundry Services: Laundry services are outsourced to a third party and must be settled directly with the service provider. Aranthai Tamil Sangam serves solely as a facilitator and holds no responsibility for any damage or loss caused to the clothes by the vendor. Alternatively, self-service washing is permitted in your bathrooms using the drying racks provided.
  • Room Inspections: Please be aware that your allocated room or locker may be subject to routine or surprise inspections by the hostel warden/caretaker at any time for safety and discipline purposes.
  • Refrigeration Facility: Shared refrigerators are provided on each floor primarily for storing essential medicines and approved fresh consumables (fruits and salad ingredients). Please label your items and do not consume items belonging to others.

2.2 Internet Usage Terms

  • An internet-enabled computer is available at Aranthai Tamil Sangam Office II for official/email use, accessible only with prior permission from the Course Coordinator. Internet usage is strictly prohibited during scheduled class hours.

2.3 Dining Etiquette and Meal Protocol (Sattvik Dining)

  • Sattvik Meals: All courses, camps, or workshops with inclusive meal services feature highly nutritious, freshly prepared Sattvik food served within our dining hall. If your course does not include meals but you prefer to opt-in for Sattvik dining, please inform the kitchen office in advance. Additional costs will apply.
  • Scheduled Meal Times: To maintain an organized community dining experience, please enjoy your meals strictly during the designated hours:
    • Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
    • Lunch: 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • Tea & Snacks: 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • Dinner: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
  • Restrictions on Outside Food: No outside food, non-vegetarian items, or fast food is permitted inside the dining hall or campus.
  • Silent Dining (Maunam): To create a mindful, tranquil, and focused dining environment, we maintain a policy of complete silence during meals. Students are encouraged to practice “Mauna”, engaging all five senses mindfully while eating.
  • Meal Absence Notification: If you plan to skip any scheduled meal on a particular day, you must notify the office, the kitchen department, and your course coordinator in writing in advance to prevent food wastage.

2.4 Respectful Interaction with Institute Staff & Property Rules

  • Courteous Treatment: All students and visitors must treat our staff, including kitchen and housekeeping personnel, with the utmost courtesy, dignity, and respect at all times. This practice fosters an atmosphere of mutual regard and professionalism.
  • Housekeeping Services: Please be advised that our housekeeping staff is here to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of our facilities. As such, their services are not to be engaged for personal or private tasks. Housekeeping staff will clean common areas daily and rooms on a scheduled basis.
  • No Tipping Policy: In strict adherence to our institutional policy, we kindly ask that you refrain from offering tips in cash or kind to any members of our staff.
  • Courier Services Protocol: Please inform our reception desk in advance regarding any expected courier parcels. To maintain the highest security standards, courier delivery personnel are strictly not allowed inside the campus premises. Students must retrieve their personal courier parcels directly at the main gate of our premises. Upon receipt, please take a moment to verify the contents of your parcel to ensure order accuracy and delivery integrity.
